Lindiwe has attained a Bachelors Social Science Degree in Geography and Environmental Management, as well as a Social Science Honours Degree in Conflict Transformation and Peace Studies from the University of KwaZulu Natal (UKZN). Lindiwe has attained a Master’s in International Relation at Jilin University, China in 2017.

Subsequent to that she completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Specializing in Monitoring and Evaluation at University of Witwatersrand in 2018. Her work experience has been in the government sector working in the environmental field for 4 years.

Her professional spectrum has recently aligned within International Relations, and more specifically in the peace and security field. She consults with a Non-Profit organization, Southern African Liaison Office (SALO) as Peace and Conflict researcher. It is an institution that is involved in international relations; peace and security and creating dialogue platforms. She relates strongly to their initiatives of creating a dialogue platform whose objective is to gain an understanding of conflicting parties in order to facilitate peace, social cohesion and sustainable development.

She currently works as a Research and Projects Consultant with a focus on Agricultural Development Projects for Rural-based Cooperatives.

She is a supporter of various environmental management initiatives such as Greenpeace Africa. She is a motivated, focused individual that believes in contributing to the betterment of our society through environmental and social justice. Her personal interests are in social and environmental justice activism and keeping abreast with current affairs and international affairs.
